POSITION:                          Wash Bay Supervisor

HOURS:                                40 Hrs/Wk

MTWThFS   (Schedule may vary due to shift work)

 

SUMMARY:                        This position is responsible for supervising wash bay personnel with the main objective of supporting sales and service departments by consistently providing clean vehicles in a prompt manner.

 

DUTIES:

• Oversees wash bay personnel to ensure that all work is being performed in a timely and proficient manner.
• Serves as the source of quality control of all outgoing vehicles by ensuring that all vehicles are completely cleaned, vacuumed, and ready for delivery.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies by tracking inventory and coordinating the ordering of supplies, with service manager, including detail supplies and fuel.
• Responsible for the safety of all wash bay personnel, company equipment, and customer vehicles.
• Efficiently and effectively washes, vacuums and clean windows and door jambs on all new and used vehicles sold by the Phil Long dealerships on Motor City.
• Dispense fuel in sold retail vehicles as requested by the Delivery Center.
• Washes and chamois’ all service vehicles for the Ford and Nissan service departments.
• Shuttles vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws and company policies.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid Colorado drivers’ license.
• Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

STANDARDS OF PEFORMANCE:

• All new and used vehicles completed within 20 minutes of receiving them.
• Goal of washing a total of 1500 vehicles per month.
